Butterflies fly into groups showing combinations of numbers adding up to 2 thru 5. ACTING OUT A MATH PLAY: The students create their own math play using dance and song about the math concept shown in the movies. For example, they can demonstrate addition adding up to 3 by dancing into groups using the two Butterfly combinations, 1+2=3 and 2+1=3 and singing the numbers in the language of their choice.
