Beautiful Brilliant Ideas
ACTING OUT A MATH PLAY: The students create their own math play using dance and song about the math concepts shown in the movies. For example, students can form a group of three in the circle. Two of the students hop out of the circle, as the whole class shows the math with their figures and sings 3-2=1 in the language of their choice. Using various group sizes, the students can create more math plays by some students hoping out of the group. This helps the students extrapolate new math problems and strengthens their understanding of subtraction.
